Many of the previous blog posts have been about general auto manufacturer integrations used by different departments at an dealership. Now I think it is time to get more specific and ask Hyundai auto dealers what integration(s) they need and want for auto manufacturer integration. As the sales volume continues to increase for Hyundai Motor America (HMA), integration to automate manual processes is critical to sustain the market growth. Hyundai auto dealers are already utilizing what I call the "core" integrated business processes:
When you add the SmartStock program (managed parts inventory) and Service VIN Inquiry that was just released this year, Hyundai Motor America provides many of the same integrated solutions as their fellow auto manufacturers. Moving forward, HMA will look to develop valuable integrated information technology solutions that streamline business processes for both auto manufacturer and auto dealer . This is where Hyundai dealerships come in. What integration do you need? Is there integration you know of in the industry that HMA should develop?
