Two companies decreased rates without changing coverage in Florida during 2011.  Humana One had the largest decrease, their rates in December were 24% less than their rates in January.  Cigna decreased their rates by 15 to 19% during 2011.  The largest increase came from Assurant by a factor of about 18%.  Other companies increased rates steadily by about 3% each quarter.

You can draw your own conclusions from this data.  This view simply describes how insurance rates changed for individuals over the course of 2011.  Business intelligence software for health insurance companies provides the raw data that allows for the competitive insights that are instrumental in making marketing, sales, and executive management decisions.
