There were no companies in Austin that decreased rates overall during 2011.  TX Health Pool had the smallest increase at 1.5%.  Health insurance Innovations and Scott and White each made complete coverage overhauls twice this year.  Assurant and Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas had the largest increase to their rates by a factor of 13% and 11% respectively from January to December.

You may be able to draw any number of conclusions from this data.  This particular view merely describes the actual rate changes that occurred over the course of 2011.  Business intelligence software for health insurance companies provides the facts that allow for the competitive insights that can be applied to marketing, sales, and executive management decisions.
